I’d be transparent about the DTF printing without making the shirts sound defective. Position them as samples made with an older print process and explain that the print may show wear sooner than your current shirts. That makes the lower price feel intentional.

These sample shirts were made using our previous DTF printing process, rather than the upgraded screen printing process we use on our current apparel. Because of this, the graphic may show signs of wear, cracking, or lifting sooner than our standard Buff Bo tees.
They’re still soft, comfortable, and ready for plenty of wear—we just can’t offer the same durability or 50 Wash Guarantee that comes with our current shirts. That's also why you're getting them at such a great price!
